One of the true pleasures of warm weather is eating outside. I love picnicking on a blanket with a bottle of wine and some delicious picnic goodies. My old picnic basket had seen better days, so I was happy to pick up this lovely Vermont-made picnic basket at a flea market over the weekend. Do you have a picnic basket at your home?

Vivienne Westwood
Yes, I do, and it looks exactly like that.
1No but I really want one!
2I do. It was an engagement gift from my mom. It's a brand called Longaberger which is very popular around here.
3I used to have 2 but I gave my smaller one to my youngest daughter to keep her porelain tea set in. I still have my other one that I use regularly.
4I do. It's a cool one that I received for a wedding gift--a half circle in which the whole side opens up and has silverware and plates strapped in with leather bands. I may just keep it forever.
5I had one but a bear stole it from me during a visit to Jellystone Park
6No. I wouldn't use it enough to justify paying for it and storing it in my house.
7I do--I picked it up at a garage sale for $5; it came with two glasses, 4 napkins, 4 plates and silverware too. Such a steal. We've already used it twice this spring.
8No but I need one. I just went on a picnic today and it would have come in handy!
9if you do not have one, go get one, we have so so much fun doing the bonding thing! get out there and enjoy life!
10I have one that I got as a gift, but we've been married four years and never actually used it. Maybe now that we have a baby on the way, it will give us something fun to do with our kids!
11I do! I found it at a yardsale for about $3. Yay!
12I do, but it's not pretty like that. It's like a soft-sided cooler.
13I have a mini-igloo that works great. I
the traditional baskets (ie, Longaberger) but
would only want one if it had a "cooler" feature in it to keep things cold otherwise you would have to bring a cooler of some kind anyway. Would love to find one at a garage sale!!!
14I actually just bought a lovely picnic basket online (www.christmascentral.com) I can't wait until I can us it. Maybe I'll take the grand kids out for an afternoon picnic, or better yet a romantic picnic with my hubby!!
