Do You Decorate With Movie Posters?

While movie posters stuck directly to a wall with thumbtacks will look like you're living in a college dormitory, tastefully matted and framed movie posters can look like fine art. Do you have any movie posters in your home?

I don't have movie posters, but I have a couple of matted and framed Broadway show posters. Is that geekier? :) I don't care, I love them, and the mattes make them less tacky.

it definitely depends on the film/actor! i have a retro breakfast at tiffany's poster and a black and white marilyn monroe. they're both framed and look really nice. anything a bit more like 'jaws' just reminds me of dawson the geek (what my dad called dawson's creek) when he had a time line of steven spielberg film posters around his room!!

My good friend loves Star Wars, and decorates her home office with alot of their stuff. When the posters are framed really nice, then it looks great. I think it looks relaxing and refreshing from the old plain style office looks. Her home office look makes me want to do the same but I wouldn't know which kind of movie poster to start with. I think I would use mini works of art too.

I don't, but I used to have a cool Gone With the Wind poster hung up. It wasn't the bright red one you usually see, it was all browns and more vintage looking.

I decorate with my Fillmore posters, but they're like mini works of art. :)
