While there's definitely some red and green in my holiday decorating scheme, I also tend to incorporate blues and purples. What colors do you use for your holiday decorating?

its fun to change it up every couple years!
1I keep my family room with traditional lights/colors and all different collected ornaments on a fresh tree (I love vintage Santas too). I use a fake tree in my living room and decorate it in pinks. This year, I am hosting Christmas and have decorated my dining room table in blue and silver to match my china
2I kind of hate red and green together... but i LOVE bright colors with silver and i love metallics!
3I don't use any green! Even our tree is white, and I decorate in red and gold.
4I do some reds & greens because I'm kind of traditional when it comes to Christmas. I also do some winter decorations that can stay up into the new year. They're mostly blues and silvers.
5I'm into the blue and silver...but a lot of my decorations broke the last couple years due to poor storage habits. I think next year I'll mix it up with bright colors and metallics...or go for an antiquey white/gold/silver look.
6Since we started living together a few years ago we've had a jewel toned Christmas decor scheme... Deep blues, burgundy, teal, purple, all mixed with gold. Super cozy & rich; reminds me of Hogwarts at Christmas
. Of course I've got Christmas staples (the nutcracker set
my nina sent me, my first ornament, etc.) that don't match, but being crafty I've managed to match just about everything else. But I'm thinking this may be the last year for it... Hubby said
he wants a gold & white themed tree, so of course I have to switch everything else!
Oh, and I don't know about you, but I HAVE to have something from the season in EVERY room. Yeah! OCD Christmas! Deck the halls and kitchen and bedroom and bathroom and dog...!
7Black, white and red. We have a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. I bought a pre-lit black tree last year that is fantastic. Even though it is black people really don't notice they just think it is a really dark green. I had warned my grandmas ahead of time and each was so upset but got nothing but compliments from them when they saw it in person.
8black, purple, pink, silver....these are a few of my favorite things...
9I'm a red and white kind of gal for my tree and decorating around the house. I do have some pretty white, mercury silver and robin's egg blue, wintery decorations for my bedroom though.
10mostly red, green, silver, gold, etc...it just depends.
we don't have any theme to our ornaments, it's just ornaments that mean something to us that we've collected over the years.
11I try to mix it up each year...I get sick of the same ol' thing every year.
My tree this year is "woodland" theme, and it's done in shades of burgandy, deep red, and gold. I hung Martha Stewart rustic-looking/woodland ornaments and several strands of garland with glittery pinecones to complete the look. I absolutely love the way it came out!!!
12Nah why be so typical...
13I've got some red and green, but also some white and sparkly blue to give that wintery vibe.
14I have been sticking with silver.
