In this photo from New Moon, Bella is all bundled up with her with her warm drink and hoodie and has made herself comfortable with her shoes on the couch. I'm sure once in a while I've done this, but in general shoes on the sofa are a no-no at my house. Do you allow it?

Dune
No, we don't even wear shoes around the house.
1I too don't usually ever wear shoes in my house or other people's homes. I even hate wearing slippers on couches.
With that said recently I was chastised in a friends home when I put my CLEAN, bare feet on her couch. I was appalled because they were clean, and she had just done the same at my house the night before. However, she said he couch was thousands of dollars and not some "hand me down" and that couches were for sitting on not laying on. I just had to laugh. I think its the opposite, and can't wait until she has kids or more important things to worry about! It was so rude!
2Never. We don't wear shoes in the house anyway and neither do our guests.
3You have to take off your shoes once you enter the house so this isn't even an issue.
4No shoes on the couch, but feet are fine - they're leather and oh-so-comfy.
5I caught my husband with his shoes on the couch the other day and asked him when it became okay. LOL I can't imagine a guest ever putting their feet on the furniture.
6I don't mind shoes on my couch. Actually, it's a settee.
It's leather so clean-up is
easy.
I DO mind eating on my settee. I don't like the idea of food crumbs getting inside the seat cushions. THAT bothers me more than shoes for some reason. All eating has to be done in the kitchen.
7I'm more grossed out by bare feet on the couch.
8Ew, never. We don't ever wear shoes in the house, so def not on the couch.
9Same with everyone here- as soon as you step into the house, shoes are off, so this is a non-issue.
10We don't wear shoes in our house it's a cultural thing personally. This goes for all our family and family friends but as for my personal friends I do wear shoes in their house because they do and therefore I wouldn't want to dirty my feet in their house. I'm sorry I don't care who you are and I even tell my BFF this, WHY ARE SHOES WORN IN THE HOUSE!? It's absurdly gross and dirty and anyone who says otherwise is freaking dirty. It's Gross. UGH> This is my pet peeveee
11Bare feet are ok, socks are ok. Shoes - no!
