Designer Chandeliers and Julie Neill's Shop in New Orleans
Tour Julie Neill's Stunning Chandelier Shop in New Orleans

Earlier this month, I took a trip to New Orleans and visited Julie Neill's lighting and furnishings shop on Magazine Street. I've corresponded with Julie in the past — did you see her Who Dat chandeliers? — but never had the opportunity to meet her, and let me tell you she is a breath of fresh air! This lovely, talented, and creative Southern belle specializes in custom handcrafted chandeliers, sconces, and lamps, which are jaw-droppingly beautiful.
Using time-honored techniques, she and her team of artisans create stunning fixtures that are steeped in tradition yet integrate easily into modern interiors. Created by hand in Julie's studio, each piece is made to order and can be customized to your style, size, and finish of choice. While Julie's most popular styles are covered in gold leaf or dripping with crystal, she just as easily takes on trendier designs, like Greek key motifs in cherry-colored powder coating. Whether you have something specific in mind or you don't know where to begin, Julie will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind piece that you'll adore for years to come.
A picture's worth a thousand words, though, so check out my photos of Julie's shop and prepare to be blown away!
