With seven books under his belt, Danny is full of great ideas for decorating and DIYing, so I was curious to see what was on his holiday wish list this year.

Top Gifts to Give and Receive: "I'm a designed/decorator, so I am really really cautious what comes in my house. If anything I love to give and receive gift cards; if I had a choice, I'd ask for all of my gift cards to be from HomeGoods so I can stock up on some new bed pillows and bamboo cutting boards. But if I had to give a gift, I definitely think this creamer/sugar set from The Product Gallery fits the bill ($273, above, bottom right).

My other go-to gift is from LeLabo fragrances . . . the Santal 26 Candle ($70, above, top right) is the closest to the custom woodsy/musky candle they make for the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC. I love this candle. I am not usually a fragrance freak when it comes to candles, but burning of these scented gems transforms any space instantly. You have to experience it . . . I do not know one person who has received this candle from me who doesn't become obsessed."
