Ingredients

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 tsp. household ammonia
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. Epsom salt
  • 1 gallon water
  • Bucket
  • Something to stir the liquid, like a stick, paint stirrer, or a garden trowel
  • Watering can

Pour Ingredients

Step 1: Pour all of the ingredients into a bucket. Why each of these ingredients? The ammonia is comprised of nitrogen (something plants love), while the baking soda helps prevents mildew and other fungus from growing. Epsom salt is loaded with magnesium sulfate, which is beneficial for plant growth.
