POPSUGAR: Where did your wedding take place? Why did you choose that venue?

Ivy Calhoun: Our wedding took place in Sheridan, CA, at the Stone Barn Ranch. Our planner helped us choose the venue, and we actually chose our planner the same day that she helped us find a venue. We weren't sure we could afford a planner, but she told us that she could help us save money in the long run. We still weren't sure about it, but when our original venue changed some vital components of their location, we needed to find a new venue on very short notice. So we called our potential planner and she recommended Stone Barn. The price was great (lower than the original venue by more than 30 percent) and it had all of the features we had always wanted but could never find, and some equipment rentals were included in the price. We scheduled a visit for that very day and fell in love with the place.
