You were understandably enthusiastic about the aptly named Lady Chair. However, I have a hard time imagining those of you who cohabitate with a manly man getting even the smallest, riveted corner of the Lady Chair in your door. If that's the case, then I present you with a testosterone-friendly option: the Cotswald Chair ($1,998) from Anthropologie. With a wide seat, leather whose coloring is described as "bourbon," (it doesn't get much more manly than bourbon), and a mahogany finish, this is a chair that even the most furniture-apathetic man can get enthusiastic about.

I love Anthropologie. Anything from Anthropologie. And I think I actually like this chair better than the Lady Chair. I've always wanted a library with big, heavy wood and leather furniture and heavy drapes - you know, where men go to have post-dinner scotch and cigars in the movies. This chair would fit right in my fantasy library.
1Silent- I am with you on the library. And I LOVE this chair. And I resent the sexist implication that only men like bourbon
2CJaneTyp--I'm a Maker's Mark girl myself (or Bulleit if I'm feeling fancy); I didn't mean that bourbon comment in any sexist way. I just know that whenever I've been out with a man who wants to seem particularly manly that night, it was never gin or white wine on the order — only bourbon!
3GREAT chair! Anthropologie has some great furniture choices. If money was no object, I would have several already...
4omg Silent Vamp I am the same!! I have always wanted a dark old-looking english style library, with a chair exactly like that to sit in
I think it can be just as much of a ladies chair.
I so hope my library comes to life at some point in my life
