Coveted Crib: Sixx Design's West Village Home

Although this children's room is outfitted with an Ikea rug and bookcases, the scale of furnishings really gives it a high design aesthetic. The chair is by Marc Newson, which I imagine is expensive, but the light fixtures are just vintage pieces from a flea market that are really accessible. The off-kilter arrangement of the pendant lights gives them a much more artsy, perfectly imperfect look.
