A bit behind the times, I recently learned from Real Estalker that indie darling Parker Posey's three bedroom East Village co-op went on the market in late October for $1.175 million. Putzing around on New York interior designer Rafael de Cárdenas's site, I discovered photos of the apartment, which has clearly been updated since early real-estate shots were taken. Don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful, unique, and all that you'd expect from a hip, indie actor; but, something about her exposed brick walls and uncovered floors reminds me of an Urban Outfitters product shot. It's got an artsy, bohemian, Hollywood Regency look, but not much creative clutter; it's sparse like a movie set. Rumor has it this pad has sold. But would you live in it?
