British-based lighting designer Ali Siahvoshi is the brilliant man behind Fabbian’s line of repurposed silverware chandeliers. Some of Siahvoshi's previous lighting designs have used recycled hangers, plumbing fixtures, and other recycled objects for light fixtures as well.

What do you think? Do you find them as cool as I do?

I think it's neat...
1I have a cute litle silverware thing going on on my counters
i really really like this
2makes me want to make my own
i also love when people use old silverware to make wind chimes
did you ever see that in the movie "Practical Magic"?
Hmm, it's interesting. Not sure if I like it tho.
3I love it! If you're ever in the Portland, Oregon area, check out a restaurant in Lake Oswego called Zeppo (about 15 minutes outside Portland proper). They've got all kinds of kitchen utensils doing double-duty as decor, including a muffin tin bar, a chandelier made from those metal tea ball things and cheese graters, and an entire wall sculpture of the Leaning Tower of Pisa made from various utensils. Oh, and the light fixtures are all colanders. The cool thing is that it's not cheesy--everything is really beautifully designed and the food's good, too. No photos, but here's their site for the address... http://zepporestaurant.com

5Neato!
6Neat!
7I think that it would probably be cute but not for your home.
