What first came to mind when I saw Torbjörn Lundell GloFab Fiber Optic Lights (inquire for price) is, "I should have thought of that." My notion of fiber optic lights was so scarred by those tacky night lights, that I never saw the potential in them. Of course a Swede did, though — those design fiends. Torbjörn Lundell's GloCurtain and GloBe are woven, illuminated textiles made of fiber optic lights, most resembling a pendant lamp and a curtain. Ikat has just been kicked off its pedestal as the coolest textile around.
