I'm doing my living room in a cool color pallete. My couch is light blue, my armchair is cream, and I'm planning on painting an accent wall in gray :)

I am in between, I like neutrals - but I'm more of a "subtle color" type of person. I like creams and whites and greys, but I also like light blues, and yellows and pale greens, but at the same time I like navy and dark green, and browns... so something that's saturated, but not bright... if that makes any sense..?

neutral - my house looks much like the picture above but i love the bright photos as well...it's more of a cottage feel though - it's just not my style as much as a neutral i tend to go for darker neutrals though

It depends on the room. If I ever got the chance, I would have no qualms painting my room purple (not neutral at all). Generally though, I prefer neutrals on the walls and bright or bold or saturated colors for accessories. You can easily replace an accessory and not feel guilty about picking a color outside your comfort zone, painting (while easy) is not as easy or as guilt-free as accessories. You may have to buy primer to go over that color you found out you didn't like!

I agree with c4rolin.. I am a neutral while leaning towards the darker shades though. :)

importantly i think it depends on the room in question and also who lives there. also there can be colour without it being bright colour, just as neutral doesn't have to be boring. neutral has come a long way from just being magnolia these days! i think currently i'd lean more towards neutrals.... i'm loving grey at the moment or a mushroom/taupe ps: love the day bed in that top picture!!
