Casa Quickie: Save Water the Painless Way

Since showers account for 21 percent of average household water use, cut that number by hopping in the shower with your sweetheart. While you're at it, install a low-flow showerhead to cut that water bill down further. And if you're feeling muy romántico, get the bubblebath out and hop in for a good soak with your sweetie — it is Love Shack month after all.

i have a low-flow shower head and have long thick hair and always have - i take up to 7 minutes in the shower because it takes so long to get the suds out of my hair etc. but i honestly think this is at least half of how long i used to spend in the shower. why? because i hate the lack of water-pressure and don't stand around in the shower wasting water and time, like i used to when i didn't have a low-flow shower head!

If you have long, thick hair like mine, the low-flow showerhead is pointless, as you stay in the shower twice as long to be thoroughly washed. Showering with a boyfriend, though, I must say sounds good to me ;-)
