Berlin Apartment Photos Including Built-In Aquarium

German design firm BerlinRodeo recently converted and renovated a Wilhelminian apartment, and it's a stunner. The original stucco apartment was combined with an attic floor and turned into an 1,100-square-foot duplex apartment. The firm used custom lighting throughout and mixed rich materials, including velvets, gilded furniture, and elegant wallpapers, with fun art pieces and irreverent lighting. Modern furniture contrasts beautifully with the herringbone floors throughout. The update included fun additions such as a seawater aquarium built into the wall and a dumbwaiter.
