I journeyed up to Portland, Oregon to visit my aunt and family and seriously died when I saw her revamped kitchen. Here is a before and after shot . . . plain Jane meets modern, chef's special! The new two-toned slate and white cabinets showcase the open-faced kitchen and give it a more spacious feel. Absolutely lovely.

Crystalinsf, I love your Aunt's gas stove...I'd kill for something like that instead of my dinky old electric stove, blech!
