In 2008, we moved into our 1950s brick rancher, which we immediately started renovating. From the beginning, I knew I wanted our master bedroom to be a rich chocolate. The dark walls, paired with my husband's handsome bedroom furniture, made a great starting point for our design.
I chose to design in a high-contrast color scheme, accenting the chocolate with white. This off-set the dark walls and furniture beautifully. The burnt-orange chairs were originally purchased for another room but quickly made their way into the master bedroom. They were just right in the space, adding the pop of color needed to complete the design.
