Baleri Italia Skull Footstool

If you read my roundup of classy Halloween decorations, you know I have no qualms with skull motifs. In fact, I've long lusted after this expansive skull-and-crossbones-shaped chandelier. But that doesn't mean every creepy cranium gets a one-way ticket into my home. For example, the Baleri Italia Skull Footstool ($595), an egg-shaped foam footstool with a removable three-dimensional skull motif cover, is not something that jives with my aesthetic — even on Halloween.
