Artwork to Support Japan's Earthquake

People across the globe are coming together to support and help the Japanese after last week's devastating earthquake and tsunami. Donations, of course, are always a welcome form of support — head to Savvy to read about the smartest ways to give — but the design community is rising to do their part in another way.

A group of artists have started a movement to bring awareness to the disaster and express their support through art posters. The common denominator between many of the philanthropic designs is the Japanese flag. It's fascinating to see how artists have altered the iconically simple red and white flag to make their own statement.
