CS: I spy another money tree next to your fire place — do these plants hold a special place in your heart?

AL: Yeah I love these trees. I think they are absolutely gorgeous. The way the trunk twists and the shape of the bright green leaves. They are fantastic. Added bonus is that they are believed to bring financial prosperity!

CS: The rattan throne chair in your living room is so great — it's a piece I'd love to see resurrected in more homes! What do you love about this design?

AL: : It looks like something straight out of the 1970s. I imagine it was in the rooms of some fabulous peace loving hippies back in its heyday. It tells a story and that's what every home should do.
