There was one idea you didn't mentioned, but I love the idea of a fingerprint wedding tree. lovliday.etsy.com has a great selection of these.

i really like the polaroid idea, the signing and picture and also the 'write words for their # anniversary' i think if it was signing a picture, it might be better to get a canvas print and then everyone can actually write all over it (but not on their faces) rather than having to squish in around it. i'm going to be a bridesmaid next year so i guess one of my tasks may well be the guestbook!
