We always love seeing Oprah's annual list of Favorite Things, and this year did not disappoint! With over 60 items, there is literally something for everyone, but we naturally were most interested to see which home decor items made the cut. Check out the items that made Oprah's list — and ours. These Malachite Boxes ($49-$79) are at the top of our list too! We clearly have much in common with Oprah. What could be a more perfect gift for the ultimate dog lover than this Custom Dog Pillow ($395)? We have been waiting a long time for these useful retro pieces to come back in style! Thank you, Oprah, for adding this Monogrammed Lazy Susan ($195) to your list. Although it is hard to tell, this is one big candle. With 77 ounces of wax and a 350 hours of burn time, the Holiday Grand Candle ($225) is going to be the only candle you need to get you through the holidays. Did we mention that it smells just like Christmas? Sure, email is easier but receiving a real letter in the mail is much nicer. The Caddylicious Stationery Box ($300) is perfect for the snail mail aficionado in your life. Made from copper and antler, this Serving Piece ($175) has all the makings of a modern-day heirloom. We aren't sure if Oprah would love these Gold Circular Candleholders ($89-$179) as much if they didn't mimic one of her initials, but we aren't judging.
Hanukkah is one of our favorite holidays and not just because it is an excuse for fried potatoes and eight days of presents. Nope, we also love it because it is an opportunity to bust out the menorahs! No matter the style, menorahs should look just as great sitting on your table as they do on the eighth night of Hanukkah, full of beautiful candlelight. Below, a few of our favorites this year!
On Nov. 17, the holidays will officially arrive when the latest Nate Berkus collection for Target hits stores. Think everything you need for entertaining this season: accents pieces that offer visual interest, place-card holders with a metallic touch, and even faceted trays to corral everything you need. Even if entertaining isn't your thing, you'll find plenty of affordable but stylish gift options for this year!
The piece: Rue Petal Apartment Sofa
The price: $999
Why we want it: Even if it weren't the most flattering and bewitching color of pink, we would still be coveting this sofa! Elegant with just the right amount of midcentury styling, the Rue Petal Apartment Sofa was made with, well, apartment living in mind. The high back and gently curved arms create the perfect cozy haven for a twosome that is close or interested in getting closer. We are already imagining how wonderful it will look with a vibrant kilim throw pillow this Winter and a lightweight cotton throw next Summer!
If you have a favorite sweater that's past its prime, consider transitioning it from a wardrobe staple to a cozy conversation piece for your home. Whether you're looking to spruce up your dining room, add texture to floral arrangements, or make an old pillow cuddle-worthy, these decorative DIYs will do the job!
Reupholster Your Dining Chairs
Upcycling pro Danny Seo created an inviting atmosphere in this dining room by reupholstering the chairs with sweaters. Follow his lead, and try mixing and matching an assortment of sweaters for an equally eclectic vibe!

It is no secret that we love a good candle but sometimes they end up competing with whatever we are cooking up in the kitchen. Since we hate the idea of making the choice between food and ambiance, we were happy to hear about the Estancia Monterey Country Collection by Dayna Decker. Inspired by two of the winery's most popular blends, Dayna Decker has created candles that actually complement, instead of compete with, a dinner party. The Monterey County Chardonnay candle has hints of vanilla, lemon zest, and pear, while the Pinot Noir version boasts clove, cherry, and juicy raspberry scents. Now you can have your candle and drink it too. Wait. Don't do that.

Lately we have noticed a proliferation of beautiful handmade wooden cutting boards. While we would consider purchasing them on looks alone, it turns out that wooden cutting boards are actually very useful. In fact, they might be the one perfect serving piece for the holidays. Set them out topped with cheese, charcuterie, or small hors d'oeuvres, and you suddenly elevate your party to the next level. The best part? Unlike most table top pieces, cutting boards only improve with age. Check out some of our current favorites!Broom Cutting Board ($125) Baguette Cutting Board ($96-$168) Bird's-Eye Maple Cutting Board ($170) Live Edge Cutting Board With Knife ($59) Minnow Cutting Board ($122) Wave Cutting Board ($205)
