This month, I've been offering you tips to get organized. At my house, we've been dealing with too much of our clutter by simply stacking it in the garage. This has led me to wonder where everyone else keeps their clutter and junk. Or maybe you're that very smart and organized person who doesn't have any clutter in your house at all — and if that's the case, I've very envious indeed!

Closets of course...
1My desk and the area around it hold the junk. It's where I throw things when I walk in the door. Not technically an office, but you get the point.
2I have my stuff all over! I leave it somewhere meaning to go back and put it its proper home but then there's something else to do and by the time I go back to it, the pile is sooo huge, I have to start another pile until I fix that one and on and on lol.
3We have a bg storage unit in our apartment and it probaby has the most in there. All of my shoes and purses are in there (and I have A LOT) and that takes like half the space, and then photoboks, pictures, bottles, boxes from gadgets, brooms mops, kitty litter/food...
4I have a lot of storage in my townhouse, so there's really not much clutter anywhere. I guess the attic would have the most if I had to say.
5Our office has 5 floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, filled with books, then there are more books and office supplies squirreled behind the books. (Nevermind the cat sleeping behind the books.) It's a mess, but I'm too overwhelmed to tackle it- I guess I'll have to when we move in a couple of months, though.

We had an oil spill years back and everything got shifted around... we were
in the process of fixing it up to makes it a lounge area too.
8If you are a crafter, like I am, you know that Craft Rooms always have piles and piles of random stuff we've collected to use on our next project.
9we just moved out of a 450 sq foot loft without closets. the whole thing was full of clutter! I'm trying more in our new place:-)
10DH and I just cleaned out and organized our office, and I have been really good about only saving information I truly need. But no matter how many times we clean it out, we just can't keep the "junk drawer" in the kitchen in order! Its our catch-all!

12I am a neatfreak. If there's a grade for organizing skills, I get an A. My closets are organized by season, color and function. My garage is very impressively organized. All the rooms, and even the storage unit are all neat and systematic. But I still can't control my paper clutter in my home office. I'm overwhelmed with paper from my organizations, work-related, bills, news clippings, to do lists, my "inspirational" notes for creativity, etc. My home office still needs improvement badly.

14Right now, definitely my bedroom! I have so much junk from my apartment... plus the stuff I left behind when I went to college. Now that I'm back home, I need to do some major organizing & redecorating.
15The spare bedroom holds all of our clutter & it is full. We recently got rid of 4 truck loads of clutter (by going through the entire house). I've already been through this room once, but I'm going to do it again & purge even more. I want every room in my house to be functional!
It felt so good to get rid of all of that junk!

19Our basement has the most junk and clutter. We store all of our outdoor furniture, plus I have my craft area down there, our gym and my husband's workbench. Quite a mess!
