Dyson has just released the new DC24 model ($399.99), the latest in the Dyson Ball range.
The DC24 is two-thirds the size of its predecessors, and has concentrated technology, which can be used on all floor types. It's ultra lightweight, weighing in at only 11.6 lbs. It also has the same great features as all Dyson Ball vacuums:
- Patented Cyclone technology so that it doesn't lose suction power
- Rides on an ultralightweight ball, allowing it to turn on a dime, unlike wheeled vacuums, which only go in a straight line

- Washable lifetime HEPA filter designed to trap microscopic allergens (no bags, belts, or filters to buy)

I recently upgraded from a DC07 to the DC21 Stowaway. The extra cyclones absolutely make a difference. Well worth it!
1i just saw one of the dyson vacs on "the shopping bags" but that price is too much for me to get one until i handle other needs first.

5I really don't get these vacuum cleaners. We have one (def not as expensive, but with the same shape) in the flat, it's useless! Because it's so massive you can't vacuum under the bed/cupboard!
