When a new season rears its head, I'm always eager to see what my favorite retailers have in store for their next collections. This Spring, Pottery Barn has me smitten with their Gabby Bedside Lamp ($99). Its silhouette shape "takes its cue from stylized lyre-back chairs," and its bold red color stands out against any wall. It's just the thing to perk up your bedside table. A modern throw-back, I might say, it's a good compromise for a couple with clashing tastes. If you light up with it, make sure you get a little more inventive than their basic ribbon lampshade. How about something rectangular?
