I've slowly been refurnishing and rearranging the living room, and while there are many things I'd still like to do, I'm most obsessed with getting rid of the oversized, clunky coffee table and replacing it with a more streamlined, modern piece. What's your most coveted living room furniture upgrade?

I would love to have a new TV stand for our new massive TV! We have a pretty good one right now, but we have so many other thigns we can do to make it THAT much better!
1The coffee table my boyfriend made for me...
2I want a new love seat. Our love seat is from an old bachelor pad of slack and smells a little weird and isn't very comfy. What shape of coffee table are you looking for? Round, square, oval, other?
3I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a mod sectional-sofa with a chaise! Our living room is big enough, but sadly, our budgets aren't..
4Leather Club Chair. Distressed Leather! There is NOTHING better and more cozy
5Mine would have to be a more streamlined coffee table as well. Right now, we have an old vintage traveling trunk that belonged to my mom and dad that we use, but it is just enormous, and I'd like to go a little more minimal if possible.
6A chair. We've got a "real" sofa now, but the only other seating are little foam-top ottoman thingys. Haven't quite decided what type of chair, but I'm going back and forth between patterened slipper chair and comfy leather chair. Although the brightly colored wingbacks on the pottery barn catalog cover have definitely caught my eye!
7I want a new coffee table and end tables. Also a new comfy chair.
8I just want to replace the leather furniture my boyfriend has had since before we met. I don't buy leather.
9I want NEW FURNITURE!
10New sofa/sectional set that can withstand the craziness of a 2 yrs old.
I inherited my father's really nice mission style couch, chair, coffee and end table. I also got really nice oak bookshelves that are completely full of books. Then I also got my grandmother's set of three teak display shelves that are displaying my extensive rock collection. I'm really happy with my living room furnishings right now. Next stop, the bedrooms.
11Can I have a new living room????
If I had to pick one thing I'd say a couch. Ours is a hand-me-down. Nice for now, but when we get a house I want a biiig couch.
12I can't wait till DH and I can get a new coffee table and end tables. Although our couches are not my favorite, I'm not as anxious to ditch them as I am our coffee table. Its in great shape, but its not my style!!!!
13I guess a sectional sofa would be pretty nice...and a beautiful bookcase/entertainment center.
I have two living rooms though, both fully furnished, so the living room would not be a place I would upgrade if given the chance. The kitchen would be my first choice!!
14I would have to say, as far as furniture in my living room goes, a steamliner coffee table from ZGallerie (http://www.zgallerie.com/pc-1210-77-steamliner-coffee-table.aspx). It is amazing! It matches the rest of the room so well and it is so versatile and functional - it's got pullout shelves for drinks or food (if you eat in front of the TV), storage underneath, and is very sturdy (a 4 year old jumped on it repeatedly to inadvertently test this theory).
15a dining room table. a dining room altogether would be a wonderful start.
16I really would like another sofa. I have a sectional right now but I would like a sofa or loveseat for the other side of the room.
17hmm. the only thing i'd want in my living room is a new coffee table: something danish modern to match our desks and go well with the brown sofa. our coffee table currently holds our tv (the drawers are great for remotes!).
18I would love, love, love a new sectional couch -- preferably a bright green with a matching area rug.
19For starters, a couch. I live with four other young women, and we all came with our own furniture... Nothing matches!
It would be lovely to replace our current couch (being the largest piece of furniture in the room) with something more neutral than what we have now.
