The Plantable Eco Calendar 2008 is a monthly desk calendar that blooms long after each calendar's page is past its due date. When a month passes by, simply plant the handmade paper page and wait for wildflowers to grow. This year's calendar is designed by Kal Barteski and comes in a collector's tin. This calendar was featured in Elle magazine's Best Calendars of 2008 shopping guide, and for good reason. Too bad I already picked up a Charles Harper daily planner, or I'd snatch one of these up.

I'm digging the plantable things lately. I saw some holiday cards like that!
1That's so cute...it seems to echo the passage of time with discarding of one 'month' and letting it grow into a new life. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I think it's very sweet.
2The website for this product has wedding favors- this is excellent! I was looking for something to use as favors, didn't want to do them at all because I didn't want to waste my money giving people almonds or candles that they will never use, but I think I will go with this! I am having an outdoor wedding and they even have my colors. Thank you!
3thats crazy, plantable paper!?
