1This is something positive, after such devastating fires...even if it is such a small thing. That must look odd, to see flowers growing in a barren, fire-destroyed area.

3Whoa, the Mariposa Lily is seriously STUNNING (#6 in the pictures). Ooh but so's the Scarlet Larkspur (#7) and Humboldt's lily (#14). I didn't realize we had such gorgeous and exotic-looking wildflowers in our state, but maybe these particular ones only come out in extreme heat?
