This Max bathtub sofa ($2,940) from Max McMurdo has a definite charm, if you ask me. I love how it turns the idea of appropriate furniture for the appropriate room on its head.

Oh no. It's just wrong.

I actually knew someone who had one of these. He called it the "love tub".
Guess which designer watched "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?
I love it!! Wouldn't work in my current house but in the right lofty contemporary space...
I love it, it's so funny
That's cool, but I don't think I would want to own it.
i want one so i can pretend to be audrey!
Love it! I wouldn't know how to incorporate into my house though.
I really want this! It's perfect!!
Interesting.
how "Holly Golightly" of him.
Love it in the movie, but not real life.
NO
I think I would end up injuring myself if I had this in my house. I always manage to bump into stuff, so sharp edges are a no-go for me.
Design/style wise I think it's aesthetically pleasing -- but I'm not so sure that it would be comfortable and that is a HUGE factor for me when it comes to sofas. I like them as plush as can be, thank you very much!
Very undecided. I don't think I could have something like that in my home.
I always see things on here I like but I have to admit I absolutely love this one. My first thought was oh my gosh I have to have it ....and then I saw the price tag. But, I love it, love it, love it
There used to be a sofa of a similar design in a pub by our old flat - and it was really uncomfortable - not recommended.
I was thinking of having it in my office at home rather than the living room area. No one really goes into my office except of course family members and I don't lounge around up there much and I just think it would look adorable in there. I have a few antiques in there now and I think it would blend in so cute.
I dunno how I feel about it!
It's not ugly, it's quite neat...but I dunno. I wouldn't have it in my house...
OOOOOO I WANT I WANT I WANT. THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE SEEN ON THIS SITE. Seriously this appeals to me so much.
haha, when my family moved into our house 14 years ago the previous owners had these and left them because they were too heavy to move--they were such an eye sore, not comfortable, and had to GO!
I'm completely undecided. I love the style of it - the way the back is shaped, the colors, the legs...but it's a TUB. In the right space, definitely; in most space, no.
i like it its so clever! It would look great in one of those fancy restaurant's bathrooms
It is quirky and ingenious. However, what a waste of a beautiful claw-footed tub! As a woman who wants a claw-foot tub desperately for in her next home, I am sad to see one sawed in half! =)
It looks nice, but I'm not sure it would be very comfortable...
That is adorable. I'd love it for my garden!
i'm on the fence about this one - i can't tell if it would be comfortable or just something to look at. it's kind of cool...but i just don't know for sure
I'm sory one look and I fell for it. i'm kind of kooky and I think that this is exactly the kind of thing people would expect to see in my home. The only thing I would chaneg would be the color of the tub. I would keep the cushion in the brown pattern and paint the tub cadet blue I think. MMM yummy
looks uncomfortable
holy holly golightly
Its cute but I don't think its for me.
how could anyone hate anything that is so breakfast at tiffany's??
I like the way it looks... but I'm not sure how much I would like it function-wise.
I think it's cute but I wouldn't put it in a room where you actually plan on lounging in. It would be cute in an extra sitting room.
