In our Best of 2007 polls, you chose Ikea as your favorite home décor chain store this year. I definitely agree that Ikea's showrooms and design ideas are inspiring, and their prices can't be beat. I have to go with Anthropologie as my favorite home décor chain store, though. Aside from being conveniently located, Anthropologie's window and displays never cease to be breath-taking, their textiles are delightful, and their vast selection of home accents is always unique.

1Ikea's great for a lot of things...my husband hates the quality of their furniture, but I think some of it's okay. I love their bedding and some of their home decor accents. It's such a fun place!

4Great place if your into the exploitation of small factories, low quality disposable furniture over filling the landfills, and noxious particle board. But hey... the Swedish meatballs are good.
5I love Anthropologie, I voted them too. I actually took a part-time gig working there on the weekends just for the inspiration alone.

7I don't like Ikea because everything looks cheap yet it costs twice as much as it's worth.
8I've alwasy liked Ikea ever since I bought my son' first bed. The bed lasted him 5 years and when he outgrew it I donated the bed.
