Although few of us actually hire interior designers, their impact on all of our homes is undeniable. Their design style and choices permeate the shelter magazines we read and the home stores we shop at, so subtly that we don't even realize it. For our Best of 2007 polls, let us know which female interior designer has made a difference in your home.

I don't know any of the ones listed above and don't know too much about Interior Decorators, but I know of Alexa Hampton who is not listed. I've watched Alexa Hampton on TV with Leslie and Leigh Kenough (sp?) from Antiques Roadshow on a show that used to air called Find!
1I've also seen her on a couple of shows and interviews and read about her and have seen her work in Architectural Digest. Her work and sense of design and decorating is outstanding. After she took over her father's company when he passed, she has been one of the most sought after interior designers in New York City.
I am very surprised that Kelly Wearstler was not on the list. Her style is unexpected, chic and glamorous.
2Barbaray Barry is my inspiration!
3Um, whom ever is on TLC when I watch.
4But I picked the first one because there is no "other" and I want my point.
5Yes Kelly Wearstler IS awesome!! I picked Barbara Barry, but I havent seen any of her rooms, just her furniture and designed home products, which I love!!
My favorite female designer on TV is Sarah Richardson. I love her soft palates and neutral colors. Cool clean lines. She has great style!
6Charlotte Moss for sure...
7Since I threw my degree away and am not on the list
, I had to go with Barbara Barry.
I love Barbara Barry's furniture line for Baker; maybe one day when I'm rich...
8Out of this list list I would say Sister. She was a true pioneer.
