Philippe Starck has never let me down before. In fact, I pretty much fall asleep every night by counting his Louis Ghost Chairs. But the Tooth Stool (price unlisted), which he designed for Saint Martins Lane Hotel, is too much of a mouthful for me. The stool comes in three lacquered-metallic versions: gold, silver, and copper as well as one version in batch-dyed silver gray. If it were my style, I'd say the gold tooth is the only way to go.

yeah, gold teeth all the way...so cute for a dentist's office waiting room.
1spice I agree. It's great for a dentist office but that's about it.
2Hahah ewww nooo....
3You girls are right! DENTIST OFFICE ONLY!
FYI, the silver version is $180 and the gold is $310. You can buy through Unica Home.
Starck's most legendary disappointment was his "Juicy Salif" juicer for Alessi (1990). $79 for a metal hand juicer that doesn't work! Amazing. And it's considered a design classic! Sometimes I think he's just trying to see what he can get away with, which I think is great.
I adore the gold tooth stool, for what it's worth. In the right interior, it would be smashing.
4This is silly...
5casa, I'm also obsessed with his Ghost Chairs, but this one is just downright ridiculous looking. I'm with everyone who says they're only appropriate for the dentist's office. Although I could see somebody like Lil' Jon having a gold one in his living room just for laughs...
6hmmmmmmmm.......
7Dentist office and no where else on this one.
8Hell no i would so put this in the middle of my living room. FYI I grew up in the school of dentistry (mom has worked for them my entire life)so i have mad love for teeth & dentist!!!
9dentist's office...i agree
10I agree with everyone else, I would only like this in a dentist office.
