This is where I want to spend the rest of the Winter.

Designed and built by Peter Lewis, a writer in Maine, the treehouse is a 300-square-foot timberframe structure. He wrote a book about it called Treehouse Chronicles: One Man’s Dream of Life Aloft, a large format, coffee-table book that has won seven national book awards. (And of course, it would make a great holiday gift.) His blog tells the story of the treehouse.
