Phillip Watts has given new meaning to the term buggin' out with his Caterpillar Bench ($8,507), a three-seater bench of highly-polished cast aluminum shaped to resemble the leaf-eating larva. I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to see this piece of weird furniture metamorphose into a beautiful butterfly. What about you? Would you take a seat on this creepy crawler?

Freaky! I probably would not sit on it for fear of scratching it. It's an art piece.
1I think this would be beautiful as a sculptural bench in a park, but I don't think I'd want it in a home, or even an office.
