Personally, I love the movie, although I think the targeted audience was originally men for the lamp! However, for those of us who love the movie, I could be the craziest Christmas decoration ever in a room for the "males" of the house!

Christmas Story is my favorite holiday movie, I would love to have one. It would be a great item to put out for the holidays, but not for the rest of the year.

I think the target audience would be a young professional bachelor man. just out of college making some money and has no idea how to pull together a living room, so he goes to urban outfitters and goes, "dude this is sweet".

I could see one put in my living room by my fiance.

Maybe it's because I really don't love "A Christmas Story", but I hate this lamp. It's so cheesy.

I got one for my brother a few years ago. Targeted customers would be MEN. Bachelors or married men with their own rec rooms (since most wives will hate it). Personally I love the original replica... a 50" deluxe full size leg lamp in the "FRAGILE" Cardboard Box!

I'm having a conflict.

I hate (x 800) dismembered pieces of women's bodies used as decorations. I think that it speaks to the inherent violence against women that is pervasive in our culture.

I also love the movie, and would like to have this as a Christmas decoration.

My husband loves the movie but there is no way I would let him have a lamp like this, it's ugly and tacky.
