This Fall when I was staying at Seven Pines, an historic fishing lodge in Wisconsin, I kind of fell in love with this cute little lantern. At the lodge it was wired into the (ancient) electrical system, but I'd be happy to have a similar one that only uses candles.

googled and found this website. never ordered anything off of it. while it looks like the glass is tinted red in the picture above, I am sure you could duplicate that with paint or something.
