This lacquered Root Stool ($570) from Jayson Home and Garden is certainly striking, but I'm not sure if it's striking in a good way.

I don't know why, but I just don't like it...
1It kinda resembles a bodily organ with its shape and color..
2maybe if it was a more natural color or painted to look like a root.

14I agree, aimeeb- it wouldn't look quite so garish in black. I think the color is why its so unappealing.
15It's way too organ-y. I don't know if black would save it. Why does it need to be a color at all? Wood is pretty on its own.
16I absolutely love this! I could never afford it... but it's completely adorable.
