This John Carter Road Tested Chair ($3700) is created from two working New York City Don't Walk/Walk signs, comes with a remote control to turn them on and off, and plugs into a standard AC outlet. It can come as is, with all the grit that New York City is known for, or with a fresh coat of taxi-cab yellow paint. The seating surfaces have been reglazed with thick resin and cushioned with felt suspension. It certainly doesn't look cushiony to me, which I would excuse if a piece of furniture were easy on the eyes, but this one is just plain weird.

$3700 for that?!?!??!!?
I agree...
Ugly!!
Yikes...that's quite a price tag for something like that.
Haven't we seen this before?...Still is unsightly, but inventive.
I wonder if it gets warm when the lights are lit. Seat warmers ftw!
It looks like a project for an arts major. Crazy expensive too!!!
Not my style or my budget.
I think this was already on here - and it's still bad
I saw this somewhere else! I think its a great idea, but only if you have the space and money for a chair that isn't going to be sat in alot!
Literally a piece of junk. It's ugly, hard and who wants a chair on a cable? Sheesh
Ugh, hideous!!!
Too expensive and too ugly!
woah weird!
I kind of like it. Not as an actual piece of furniture...put it would look cool in a billiards room or something (If I had the money, ha, yeah right
)
