Skulls might be coming back from the dead for the next couple days since it's time to celebrate Día de los Muertos, but they're also having a comeback in the underworld of home interiors. Everything from doormats and rugs to candles, lamps, and chandeliers have been morbidly stamped with or shaped like a skull. I think a touch of ghoulish humor chez toi is sexy, dangerous, and definitely a must. A lil' bit of bones never hurt anyone, right? Click the images below to see what I've dug up.

That chandelier is way over the top. My fave thing has got to be the MC Escher print. He's always been one of my favorites.
1Some of these are way cute! I tend to stay away from skulls because they're overdone for the most part but these items are way more chic.
2That is way overboard!
3That is one intense light fixture! Holy moly batman!
4I love skulls/skull & crossbones, but to me a lot of this kind of stuff comes of tacky. I would love to have those pillows or hand towels though!

Skulls are the new black
7I don't like skulls and crossbones. I wish they would go away!
8So over the skulls on everything trend! It was over 2 years ago, at the least, people. It's far from edgy anymore.
9I agree with laurenchappy, I'm kind of over the skulls.
Used to love them, but now it's getting old...
