I don't think I'll get to it this year - apparently Miami has a shortage? I saw a couple pumpkins in a Publix a few weeks back but none recently. Oh the south. I miss the north east during
the fall.
But I DID roast squash seeds last night. A feeble attempt but at least I made an effort, right?
You can't carve a pumpkin this far away from Halloween and not have it rot and mildew. Well, not in Houston anyway. The earliest we can carve pumpkins here is 2-3 days. Otherwise you have to
put it in the fridge to keep it around.
