I spotted these wallpapered ceilings on Point Click Home and loved the look, so I had to share for Dress Your Walls month. Wallpaper adds color and pattern to your ceiling, can celebrate great architecture or perk up a typical, 4-walled room. These images, though, show unusual uses of wallpapered ceilings, drawing the eye to a stairwell, hiding ugly ceiling cracks, and embracing an oddly shaped wall.

How would you use a wallpapered ceiling to make the most of an eccentricity in your home?

I like the bottom one, left side! neat idea
1It's a neat idea & looks really good. I actually like the bottom right one the best.
However, after helping my mom take down wallpaper & getting to experience what a pain that was, I would never, never, never, not ever use wallpaper again....never!
2they all look neat. the top one is more my style though.
3I wouldn't think I'd like this, but I love it! Very cool idea!
4Not for me but looks cool!
5the top picture is the walker art center in minneapolis--that floral pattern is not actually wallpaper, but laser cut panels to disguise the air intake vents. cool nonetheless!
6beautiful. very inspirational!
7such a fab tip! thanks, casa!
8I actally really like this!
9It makes the rooms look awesome!
they all look cool
10i have a friend who did this in her little girl's nursery... she put a cute pink striped wallpaper on the ceiling and has polka dots on the rest of the walls. its adorable! but i love these more adult themes, too.
11I'm actually a bit afraid of wallpaper.
The initial cost is pretty high for good wallpaper, but if you flub then it's all down the drain. I've actually gotten really adept at murals, stencils, freedrawing, trompes, and faux finished because of my wallpaper-phobia, but I love the colors and patterns that would take me forever to do.
12Everything else in the image is gawd-awful but LOVE the look of the ceiling in the one with the weird door.
