Crave Worthy Creations member HannahNicole is throwing activism to the wind in favor of a sheepskin throw:

The animal activist inside me is screaming "No!" — but regardless, I'm absolutely in love with this sheepskin ($449, originally $899). It would be the perfect home accent when I'm cozy by the fireplace, so soft and plush. I know it's wrong, but I can't help it. I'll take one for Christmas, please.

Fat Face
terrible D:
1My husband brought one home from New Zealand. The cat loves it.
2my mom got me one a couple years ago, unfortunatly i love it, and it looks fabulous in my craft/study/office room.
3I have 3 of this they are so cozy! in my country they cost less than 100 dls....
4since i dont eat lamb, no. but not my style anyways. i think its only cute for baby photos but thats wrong, right? 1 baby lying on a dead (animal) baby's furry hide~~~~
5Have one, want another. Also have lots of sheepskin pillows. There's nothing warmer or cozier.
6i want one
7I can understand being against it if someone truly lives a vegan lifestyle, but how many people are out there who truly do not consume any animal products? Even many candies contain animal by-products!
8I have a cowhide rug in my living room. It's really old and starting to look bad though. I might get rid of it.
9My husband would love to put sheepskins on the floor on each side of the bed. It would be nice to step on something so soft and warm in the morning...
I think I probably would. I always hear how nice and soft the feel.
10Ew, no way. Tacky.
11In fact, sheep are treated far better than pigs and chickens by farmers. It's more ethical to eat lamb than pork or nuggets. I think it's double standards to eat mass-produced meat but frown upon the skin. Sheepskin is just the by-product of sheep farming.
12There's NOTHING ethical about eating any slaughtered animal whether it be a sheep, duck, cow, pig, chicken, whatever. I agree with the 2nd part of your statement Anon, it is a double standard. I've come across so many people who put their nose up to fur, but ate meat.
13I love my sheepskin throw! I wish I had more. This was the gift I gave to all our friends for Christmas. When our family visits, the kids and grandkids fight over the one we keep in the living room. It is so cozy, soft and snuggly.
