Flor is a very unique company that manufacturers what it calls "modular carpet tiles" — aka, rug squares that can be arranged to create an area rug or wall-to-wall carpet. It's a great, easy option for renters or anyone shy about laying down carpet.

Now, Flor is the latest company to partner with lifestyle maven Martha Stewart, who just unveiled a line of Martha-designed floor tiles. (via Shak in Style) The collection includes nine color families, each offering different textures and patterns that you can mix and match to create your own floor coverings. I particularly like the Brook collection of cool blues and sea greens (pictured above). To see a gallery of the offerings, read more

These look awesome!!! The carpet tiles I've seen before these were so industrial looking. I think my 2 favs are REED and NEEDLEPOINT.
I love the way they look, but would never put them in my own home
I just like the openess that
you get with the same carpet throughout
I love these.
These are so awesome. I would love to create my own custom carpet designs.
my grandparents had these in the 60's and whenever they moved, which was a lot since my grandfather was in the army, they just packed up their carpet, along with everything else, and took it to the new space.
Oh, I like these. I have white cold ceramic tile floors and the area rugs I have now just don't cut it. This would be a great way to add color and texture in a flexible way.
I like these . when we moved to our condo, my first criticism was its light brown shabby stained low-quality carpet which is so hideous. I'd better check this out
Since they're Martha Stewart, and this may be super hillbilly, but are they gonna be available at Kmart ya think?? That would be awesome. LOL
Everytime I've ever priced FLOR products, they've always been just too expensive for me.
So how do the pieces stay together then? lol, I'm not at all familiar with this!
Like it, very simple.
It is differant looking.
love this, very simple and chic
this is nice because you may want carpet in a certain spot like around your bed or a section of a living room. i wonder how much this costs
Huge fan of FLOR.

ooh, wow, gorgeous. what a great idea. i hope they do well enough to expand to Aus =)
i love the idea of these if you mess up an area you can jus replace those squares
carpet squares like these are great. have seen them in offices and in a few homes. if you have kids or pets, much easier to replace a square than trying to patch/match carpet.
I love these! Are they affordable?
Loves them!
I love Flor! I don't know about taking the rug wall to wall, but for area rugs Flor squares are less expensive than regular area rugs, especially when you take into account not having to purchase a rug pad. They are also great for muddy paw prints. They clean up easily, and if a square is beyond the point of cleaning, you can replace individual squares rather than the whole shebang.
It looks fabulous but still i hate carpet and it's still what it is
I love Flor! It always makes me think of that Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry asks Crazy Eyes Killa what the floor is made of and he says "Floor S**t" - i know it's not talking about Flor, but it's what I think of every time I see Flor products. I always say, "Oh! We should get some of that flor s**t!"
f*cking brilliant!
