This might not be the best option for nail-shy apartment dwellers, but I can't help but admire this artfully overdone wall of framed photos. I like how the frames follow the lines of the room and how the cluttered look is offset by the simple black-and-white color scheme. This would be a great way to display old family photos.

I think the shape of that wall lends itself to this design idea...it would look far to grid and block like if that was just a regular rectangular wall.
A little too much going on for me
Too much going on---a plain "eyesore" to me
I like it only because the rest of the room looks simple and clean.
i LOVE this, but i'm a total picture addict.
The wall looks way too cluttered for me.
Yikes! A little overkill...
I like it; DesignRchic, I agree that it only works because of the simplicity of the rest of the room.
I like the simple design of the room, but the pictures are a little too much for me.
Yes too many Pictures!!
Basically the reason this works is the unique wall lines, and the clean, simple surroundings. The framed pictures definitely become the focal point. The window placement in this room is awkward, and the pictures helped to break things up.
It's a bit much for a bedroom. A bedroom should be soothing. BUT your right. It does have great lines and form!
I agree. I good solution to awkward architechture. Wouldn't risk it in a room without high ceilings and alot of light. Although if I had an empty room I'd love to to that to an entire wall and leave the rest for tradtionally hung large prints with lots of space b/t them. A gallery room.
It kind of works for that particular room, but it's too much for me, personally.
In some places it needs more space between the frames. But other than that I love it!
i guess it works for the room, but it's overload for me.
Oooh I hate it! There's too many, I'd get confused over which to look at first
Also having them at the head of the bed makes me feel like they could fall down on me while asleep.
Ooo, I love this...though this would only work in a very specific space (like the one pictured above).
Reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Christian Boltanski.
I love it! its busy yet sophisticated its a great idea!
its too many pics, you can't really enjoy the ones at the top can you? I'd rather see a smaller cluster in the same idea.
It's a sensory overload for me. I couldn't live in a room with that much on the walls. I like clean and simple lines and the black and white leaves me longing for color.
Pretty cool idea!
no way! i love this! There aren't too many at all! I love those photos of english homes in castles or similar with really high ceilings and tons of paintings on the walls! so beautiful and cozy!
i LOVE this, it's sooo perfect!
I like it!
EW i reallllly don't like it at all. but i'm big on light sunny white spaces without much wall clutter.

I like it. as lomng as the photos mean something to you why not. plus the photos are the accents of the room and i think the homeowner/designer made the perfect choice of having neutral-colored sheets, walls, floors.
i think its cool but its very busy ,overload i mean
I like it-but I agree the only reason that it works is because everything else is clean and simple.
Way too many pictures!!!
I love it! I'd love to display old family photos this way.
so intense. all those eyes staring back and over you...
I kinda love it...
hmmm...too much for me. It kinda makes me dizzy. I like the idea of the pictures being family members though.
This is to cluttered. I love this look on a much smaller scale.
Maybe for someone else, but that would drive me nuts.
LOL wow it's love it or hate it. I love it. I would take away the side tables though.
