January Jones's character in Mad Men may live in a picture-perfect house, but in real life, the actress doesn't mind a little work. January just snatched up a fixer-upper in LA's Los Feliz neighborhood for just over $1 million. The 2,200-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath 1920s Mediterranean villa is definitely dated, and a far cry from some of the slickly renovated homes of her contemporaries.
The kitchen, with its sad linoleum floors and vintage cabinets, could be reconfigured and remodeled. But overall the space is charming and bright with beautiful landscaping, and it would make an ideal place to throw a '60s-inspired cocktail party. See photos when you read more.

Love the front door! So unique.
1Is that kitchen floor really linoleum? Looks like vinyl to me. The two are completely different!
Linoleum = green (made from linseed oil), anti-microbial, only made in Europe now, highly desirable
Vinyl = gross, hard to clean, laden with phthalates, off-gasses, BAD
Anyway, I'm happy when anyone chooses to buy and fix up an old home instead of opting for wasteful new construction.
2Ms. Jones got a great bargain with that house. Hard to find a 2200 sq. ft. house in Los Feliz for a million. She can put a couple hundred thousand into it and have a home worth twice/three times what she paid. Good for her!!
3I like this house it looks so charming.
4What a lovely house. Lots of charm, personality and potential.
