I have never loved an inanimate object more than I love the polished white West Elm Parsons Desk with Drawers ($299, reduced from $329). For months, I literally scoured Craigslist every day until I got a bargain on a lightly used one. Unfortunately, I moved across country a few years ago and couldn't take it with me. 1I'm sorry, but you call that on sale? For 9% off? It bothers me when these stores take such a small percentage off and call it a sale. That's not a sale. That's a trick to con people who won't notice the original price is only $10 more! And what's $30 when you are pining for a $330 desk? Yes, $30 can buy you a bunch of stuff, but if you really want something and decide you can't afford it, then does this tiny discount make it suddenly affordable?
