I've been shopping for a hammock all Summer, and this Ting Studios Sling ($578) might be my favorite so far. It's made from recycled seat belts, which are not only environmentally responsible but also look way more comfy than old-fashioned rope. The weave is weatherproof and available in five colors: green, orange, white, black, and brown.

I like that it's not rope and love the bold color, but the price? No thank you.
yeah, I agree. It is awesome and I love the color! I'm sure it's really comfy but screw that price!
Yeah, it's a bit high priced, but that's why I'm calling it "Crave Worthy." Something I crave but that isn't necessarily attainable!
I agree. I was going to comment on the same things. It looks nice and I like the bright colors, but it is pretty pricey. I wouldn't pay that much for a hammock that wouldn't get used very much.
I guess I want less Crave Worthy and more Cost Conscious!
I agree way too expensive for some seat belts...even though i like this very much!
I want, I want, I want! But the price! Yikes!!
Seat belts? Cool.
good idea but i like the one i already have even though the sun fading it.
SEATBELTS?! Too spiffy! But too pricey...just like those cool purses made from seatbelts.
Wish I could afford it b/c it looks sooo comfy!
Crave but can't have -- along with my beach home in the Bahamas. It is great though!
I have an old hammock frame, this would work greay, but too much money!
looks good, Casa. I tried to find a different kind of seatbelt style hammock for you but this is the only one i found (the one you have pictured). i found this wording about it though: Made of 100% unused, reclaimed nylon seat belt webbing.
does that mean that its made from seatbelt bits from a factory floor or something?
Is stretching going to be much of a problem, you think?
whoah that's awesome! This is SO going in my fantasy house's backyard! way cool, and way fun!
