I think it depends on the space. I currently have white walls with old dark hardwood floors. I'm in a converted factory and the white really accentuates the high ceilings and the gorgeous
light.
Colors! That doesn't necessarily mean bright, vibrant colors all the time, but any color is better than white. In my apt, the living room is a warm sandy beige, but they left the bedroom
white (I guess they figured guests wouldn't see it so it wouldn't matter?), and it feels almost clinical with all that white and my ceiling are pretty high. Warm neutrals are the way to go.
I spent my whole childhood with boring white walls that easily get dirty and parents who wouldn't let me paint them. Once I get my own house I'm going to splash it with color!
Colors please! I don't think any walls in my house are white, although there are several that are a neutral grayish beige. Then stronger colors in some rooms and accent walls.
The only room in my house that is white is the bathroom - the rest all all colors - we have a lot of khaki colored walls - as well as 2 different blues, a teal and red.
definitely colour!!!! I am SO sick of looking through design magazines only to find that every single room is decorated in shades of white and cream, and the only hint of colour is an accent
pillow. SO LAME.
I like all white with a splash of BRIGHT or vibrant color on accent walls. I live in a small home, so it makes the rooms appear larger. It allows unique accessories, textiles, and patterns to
pop out and doesn't feel clinical at all...more funky and eclectic.
i love colors on my walls, but haven't owned a place yet -alas, i am stuck with white walls! i have purple walls in my room in my mom's house though. when i own a place i'll use marigold and
terra-cotta on the walls.

I like color. Mostly pastels in cool tones. When I get my next house(I'm on my starter home) I'm painting the living room pale lavendar and I'll add darker purple accents on my light tan
sofa. My office at this home is a warm lavendar color and I love it.

1I lived with white walls for so long. Now I'm tired of it. Bring on the color.
2Colour can make a room feel cold or warm.
3I like pale neutrals, white with one wall in color.
4A mix of both, I find an all-white-wall room to be clinical so I like to mix it with textured paint or another color for one side.
5cream
6Color! White usually seems so institutional and cold (I've seen some exceptions).
7i like really light, neutral colors...they go with pretty much anything you want to put in a room.
8color, but not dark colors

10I love white. We put white everywhere with splashes of color in the textiles. Our home has a warm cottagy feel to it.
11Mostly white with splashes of colour sounds about right.
12too much white gives me a cold feeling even if there much color in fabrics etc
13I like neutral colors. It takes the edge off a stark white room.
14light natural colors but still color
15Colors of course. No whites for me. It feels and looks like im inside a hospital which I really really dread going to and being in.
16Now that I actually own my own house, I prefer color, color, color!
17I rented for so long its nice to have color on the walls and not worry about having to paint it back when you move
18I spent my whole childhood with boring white walls that easily get dirty and parents who wouldn't let me paint them. Once I get my own house I'm going to splash it with color!
19Accent walls!!
20Colors please! I don't think any walls in my house are white, although there are several that are a neutral grayish beige. Then stronger colors in some rooms and accent walls.
21i like light yellow...
22I hate white walls. My room is blue and every other room is a neutral beige that comes in most houses now.
23Both.
24The only room in my house that is white is the bathroom - the rest all all colors - we have a lot of khaki colored walls - as well as 2 different blues, a teal and red.
25My father had white, my landlord insists on white... I'M SO SICK OF WHITE.
26definitely colour!!!! I am SO sick of looking through design magazines only to find that every single room is decorated in shades of white and cream, and the only hint of colour is an accent pillow. SO LAME.
27I like white color, but not in every room!
28I have color in every room, on every wall, even the laundry room!
29i like pastel colors.
30colors, but more specifically, neutrals!
31Colours! Nothing too mad, just nice soft colours
32I like one accent wall that is some bright awesome color!
33i like white walls. it makes the colors in my furniture and accent pieces really pop out.
34I love color but not too much
35I hate white walls, every time I see them I resist the urge to just randomly splatter some colour all over it.
36I like all white with a splash of BRIGHT or vibrant color on accent walls. I live in a small home, so it makes the rooms appear larger. It allows unique accessories, textiles, and patterns to pop out and doesn't feel clinical at all...more funky and eclectic.
37Every home I've ever owned has had white walls until the one I'm in now, which has a creamy neutrals (this is as "bold" as hubby will let me get).
38In the house we're building right now, every single wall is going to be painted a color.
39color please! unless you live in an apartment where the walls can't be painted, color can really liven up a place and set the mood for the room.
40I love color!!!! I have light earthtones on the walls in my home ...I hate white walls.
41i love colors on my walls, but haven't owned a place yet -alas, i am stuck with white walls! i have purple walls in my room in my mom's house though. when i own a place i'll use marigold and terra-cotta on the walls.

45Ceilings white, lots of color on the walls.
46Color! If I could, I'd live in a rainbow. I like colors on the brighter side, vs. dark and gloomy. White or beige, is for apartments and hospitals.
47Colors warm up a home I think. White is too boring for me.
48white is too sterile, id rather opt for a warmer cream or beige.
