Evoking the charming French film of the same name, this Amelie Sofa from Anthropologie ($2,898) is a deep blue velvet indulgence, made even more feminine by elegant carved white wood. Its design was inspired by a couch found at a Parisian flea market, giving it a romantic old-world charm. What do you think of it?

Not really my style
It's a beautiful accent piece, but doesn't look very practical.
Absolutely georgous!
Ooo! I love it. It looks much more expensive than it is.
It's beautiful and I really like it, but doesn't fit my style...
I actually love it!
Beautiful, but definitely not for my house.
I actually think I like the pillows on the sofa better than the actual sofa, but it still looks nice. It's not really my style though.
Love it!
very marie antoinette - but sooooo not my style.
I loooooove it!! It would not fit in my current house, but I would love to get to do something with it!! ♥
I like it but wouldn't use it in my home since it's not my style.
not my style but pretty
that price for something that is mass produced. It's pretty, but I'd search for something in antique shops first.
For the right house and right room, this would be a nice piece of furniture. However, I think the blue might be a little too bold.
It's extremely pretty. Tricked out in the right space with the right touches, it could be oh so lovely.
looks cozy- great boudoir couch!
Be-yooo-tiful for a boudoir!
I think it's fantasitic and reminds me of a seatee that my grandpa used to have in his old farmhouse.
Love love love it. Very feminine though, so not sure if it would work in a shared space, but still lovely.
i love it ! i saw it in the magazine and said- if only i had an extra $3000 laying around....
it's gorgeous, but looks like the kind of piece that would end up in the fancy room nobody uses
love it! especially the velvet and the colors. hmmm...gives me ideas on what colors i should use to decorate my new apartment! crossing my fingers that i'll get it that is. ;o)
I love it, muy romantico.
LOVE IT! It actually looks like my antique sofa, but mine is gold wood with sage fabric
Ooo I love this! But I'd probably be hesitant to let people sit or.. breath on it -_-
That blue against the white is absolutely gorgeous.
Ugly and uncomfortable looking looks like grandma furniture. If your going to buy something expensive at least it should look nice.
I love it! I wouldn't use it for my home, but maybe for my office?! I love Anthro!
Beautiful.
totally my style
um no. maybe for nana but not me.
Pretty, but my dogs would chew the arms into a thousand tiny splinters in a matter of weeks.
Gorgeous, but Anthropologie has Wheel of Fortune prices. Just the other day I saw a somewhat beaten-up gray leather purse in the store, not designer, just a leather purse that was damaged for $600.
love!
Love it and it would look fab in my Victorian home; however, I remember my great Aunt's sofa (the real antique that this sofa is a copy of) and it is not a particularly comfy couch that you can be horizontal on and really relax. But it is pretty....
Not my style at all. I don't like "decorative."
Gorgeous, but out of my price range for now!
LOVE IT
Awesome piece if I could afford it...that is way too much for my beer salary!
oooo! Pretty! not a style I usually like, but I would deffinately like this in my house!
nice for a sitting room maybe. love the elegant style but not the color or fabric
I love it--
I would love to have this couch!
NO WAY! I can't believe this couch was ever priced so high. I lucked out and it was marked way down for me in April of '07, they put it on hold until there was a furniture sale the next week. I got it for less than $600!!!
Anthropologie now has one in brown for sale.
